Oshawa and Durham Region Métis Council -

All Our Relations Métis Drum Circle
The All Our Relations Métis Drum Circle was formed by Métis women from the Oshawa and Durham Region Métis Council in 2008 who wanted to learn about, celebrate and honour our First Nation heritage.  We quickly experienced some health and spiritual benefits as well as a special connection with one another and members of other women hand drum circles.
In recent years we have been invited to perform at many local events including Big Drum Socials hosted by the Durham Region Aboriginal Advisory Circle; Durham District School Board, Durham College and UOIT Aboriginal Awareness events; and local community, youth and senior diversity celebration events.  Our numbers continue to increase as our drum circle welcomes Aboriginal women and friends of the Aboriginal culture and community to join.

We are always on the look-out for inspirational and spiritual music from our First Nations and Métis heritage, be it in Ojibwa, Anishnaabe, Cherokee, English, French, Mi’kmaq, Wendat, or Michif which is the Métis language.
